Fruit & Granola Yogurt Parfait

I'm not a very dedicated breakfast person. I often stick to a coffee and then eat later in the day. I very rarely wake up ravenous. However, I have been trying to make a better effort toward eating something for breakfast. For awhile I was sticking to a bowl of cereal with almond milk - quick and simple. When I finally got around to trying out Fage yogurt, I started whipping up this simple breakfast that has now become a full on addiction. As far as things to be obsessed with, I don't think it's very bad! It's fairly simple to mix up in the mornings (albeit some days its more like a brunch...but I'm trying), and its nice not having to rummage around unsure of what to eat.

You could very easily mix this recipe up by choosing different fruits, or a different granola (you could even do muesli). I first started doing strawberries and blueberries but one day I added banana and I think that has become one of my favorite fruits to add to it. I use an ancient grain granola from Wegmans (regional grocery store). I love the different flavors it has!

Fruit & Granola Parfait 

  • 1 cup of Fage yogurt. 
  • 2-3 strawberries sliced 
  • about a 1/4 of blueberries
  • 1 banana sliced 
  • 1/2 cup of granola 


  • Simply add yogurt to a bowl, then top with fresh fruit, granola and enjoy!
